RF/MRI DOOR PROGRAM

Radiation Shielding Systems, Inc. would like to offer our Preventative Door Maintenance Service Plan for RF/MRI shielded doors. The industry recommendation is to have the door systems serviced quarterly to ensure proper operation. This service will extend the life of the door; minimize breakdowns and unnecessary interruptions to operations.

Our corporation will provide a quarterly schedule to be coordinated with your designated contact person, for convenient timing. As part of our service a Radiation Shielding Systems technician will notify your contact two weeks prior to the scheduled maintenance date to coordinate our service with the rooms usage and to minimize interference with your daily operation.

After our maintenance is performed on the door system, you will receive a detailed report on the maintenance performed; the general condition of the door and any recommendation Radiation Shielding Systems may have to enhance the life of the door system.

Preventative Door Maintenance Service Plan

1.	Inspection of entire RF door system:
	a.	RF seal around the door
	b.	RF door general condition of faces
	c.	RF door frame general condition
	d.	RF door latch system
	e.	RF door indicator switch
	f.	RF door hinges
	g.	Door contact fingers
	h.	Door Closer
	i.	Door operation
2	Adjust and lubricate hinges as required
3	Adjust and lubricate latch system as required
4	Clean and polish contact fingers for maximum performance
5	Replace worn or damaged contact fingers if required
6	Provide quarterly maintenance report for records

Exclusions to Maintenance Plans

1.	Tax, Testing, Certifications
2.	Replacement of any/all door hardware
3.	Replacement or Repair of damaged veneer
4.	After hours/emergency call out

If other repairs are required outside of the maintenance plan a proposal
will be submitted for approval prior to work.

The industry recommendation is to have the door systems serviced quarterly to ensure proper operation. This service will extend the life of the door; minimize breakdowns and unnecessary interruptions to operations.

Our corporation will provide a quarterly schedule to be coordinated with your designated contact person, for convenient timing. 	b.	General condition of door faces
	c.	Door frame general condition
	d.	Door indicator switch
	e.	Door hinges
	f.	Door operator/closer
	g.	General Door operation
	h.	Door Safety sensor system(if applicable)
2	Adjust and lubricate hinges as required
3	Adjust and lubricate operator/closer as required
4	Adjust safety devices to provide optimum performance as required
5	Adjust door to meet ANSI standards
6	Check all minimum clearances to prevent leakage
7.	Ensure functionality of battery back up system as required
8.	Provide quarterly maintenance report for records

This door maintenance service can be made to accommodate
standard lead shielded doors and also neutron shielded doors.
